Mermaid Marine have for the last 40 years developed and sold engines to 300 horsepower based on Ford diesels. Whilst we are no longer producing Ford based engines we continue to offer comprehensive spares, service and rebuild support for these engines.

With the arrival of new emissions laws, Mermaid Marine have introduced new ranges of fully compliant engines to suit both commercial and leisure applications.

Our new products include state of the art FPT engines which are a range of mechanical and electronic engines jointly developed by Ford, Fiat and Cummins. We also offer highspeed lightweight diesel engines by FNM and robust heavy duty engines by JCB. By carrying these three complimentary engine ranges, Mermaid are able to offer well engineered and cost effective solutions to suit varying customer needs to 865 horsepower.
