| Cushyfloat Mountings |

Mermaid stock and supply Metalastik Cushyfloat Mountings for both Marine and Industrial applications These include the Cushymount K, Cushymount Mini-K, Cushyfoot and Cushfloat units and are typically used at the smaller end of the scale, while larger installations are often designed around D-series mounts. Cushyfloat is a fail-safe, low-profile design with a load range of 3 kg to 3,000 kg and is capable of achieving vertical natural frequencies as low a 8Hz. All parts are designed to meet the highest standards of reliability, acoustic efficiency and shock protection in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001, Lloyds Det Norske Veritas and other authorities.

Mermaid supplies a diverse range of Silicone Hoses to match the demanding requiremments of Marine and Industrial applications. Typical applications include engine water coolant, turbocharger inlet/outlet, turbocharger intercooler connections and as wet exhaust bellows.
Single and multiple hump variants, including reducer types, can be manufactured to suit specific applications. Bore sizes up to 195 mm are currently produced, but larger sizes can be supplied.
Hump Hoses are generally employed to accommodate assembly misalignments, amd relative movements between engine and rigidly mounted exhaust system.

Construction
Single hump hoses are constructed of a 3 ply knitted polyester impregnated with Silicon.
Dual hump hoses are constructed of a 4 ply knitted polyester impregnated with Silicon.
Wall Thickness: 5 mm Nominal
Temperature Range : -50°C to +170°C
Pressure Range : minimum burst pressure 120 p.s.i. (see note)
Note: - It is normal practice to apply a safety factor of 4, i.e. Maximum working pressure -30 p.s.i.
